Vikas T
President

Vikas was appointed to the role of President in January 2023. Vikas is a leader with a strategic mindset, commercial and technical acumen, and a proven ability in delivering profitability through product development, brand performance and customer experience.

Prior to this appointment, Vikas was Vice President Product Management and was responsible for driving the overall strategic road map for the Rainfresh brand including product development and certification, engineering, marketing strategy and online sales and presentation. Vikas has been integral to the Company’s focus on disciplined performance management. Since joining Envirogard in 2003, Vikas oversaw the development and delivery of multiple new product introductions including RO, UV, TWIST and the entire product lines for the commercial, food service and disaster-relief markets.

Vikas has 30 years’ extensive experience in fluid filtration and water treatment, starting with CUNO Inc (now 3M). Vikas has served on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Water Quality Association and serves on several technical committees at the US Water Quality Association. He has taught the water treatment course at Seneca College in Toronto and has authored dozens of articles on water treatment. He has also conducted water treatment training sessions for Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating (CIPH) and The Canadian Water Quality Association (CWQA).

Vikas has a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and an MBA from University of Wales. He also holds the Master Water Specialist (MWS) certification from WQA.

Bryan Gilbart
Vice President of Marketing and Sales

Bryan Gilbart is Envirogard’s Vice President of Marketing and Sales. Since joining Envirogard in 1991, Bryan has led retail product marketing and merchandising strategies for the Rainfresh brand. Bryan oversees the company’s consumer-focused marketing efforts to deliver a compelling consumer experience at retail. He also oversees account management with key retail partners.

Bryan’s career spans almost 50 years in retail channel management, marketing and sales. Prior to Envirogard, Bryan was President of Aqualine Products which was later purchased by Moen Inc. Bryan has served on the Board of the CHHMA (Canadian Hardware & Housewares Manufacturers Association) for 16 years, including Chairman in 1997-98 and in 2015 was inducted into the CHHMA Hall of Fame. He is also a member and actively involved with CIPH (Canadian Institute of Plumbing and Heating).

Bryan is well known for his endless charitable work for various organizations such as Sleeping Children Around The World, Habitat for Humanity, The Food Bank, Children’s Aid Society, United Way and Foster Parents Plan.

Scott Macdonald
Advisor / Past President

Scott Macdonald  has been with Envirogard since 1982 and has led it from 1993 to 2022. Under his leadership and insights, Envirogard has grown to be Canada’s leading brand of water filtration and treatment products. Scott has focused the company on innovation, R&D, category development, and global brand strategy, to maximize global growth of the Rainfresh brand. Scott is known for his emphasis on strong execution and the highest ethical standards and this principle is firmly embedded within Envirogard’s history and culture. Scott retired as President effective Jan 1, 2023 but continues to provide inputs in an advisory role.

Scott is a past president of the Canadian Water Quality Association (CWQA) where he helped develop the first education/certification program for the Canadian water treatment industry. He has served multiple times on the CWQA Board of Directors and the CWQA Board of Governors and currently chairs the Regulatory Affairs Committee. He has also served on the WQA (USA) Government Relations Committee and on the Board of Directors.

Scott is a member of the PIAC (Plumbing Industry Advisory Council) and Canadian Advisory Council on Plumbing (CACP), advising the federal and provincial governments on regulatory and technical matters related to the plumbing industry, drinking water and waste water. He is also a member of the Canadian Standards Association (CSA Group) CSA B483 Technical Committee serving on the Committee development task force as first TC Chair from 2003-2007, and from 2008-2016 as a member. This Committee developed, published and administers the first Canadian Drinking Water Treatment Unit Standard B483.1 which was included in the Canadian National Plumbing Code in 2015.

Scott has a bachelor’s degree in microbiology from Queens University and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business.
